Business3000 aims to promote business success and excellence in Melbourne.The achievements and innovation of Melbourne businesses are acknowledgedand recognised through an annual awards program.
Four major business breakfasts will be held throughout the year, with a distinguished guest speaker. Three award nominees are given the opportunity to highlight their achievements at each function.Each function will be attended by approximately 200 business people fromacross Melbourne. The award categories are:

- Innovation
- Community Responsibility and
- New Business
These events provide opportunities for business people to establish favourableand compatible networks and to learn from the successes that others haveachieved. They also provide guests with the ability to meet, exchange ideasand discuss business issues.
Category winners and the Organisation of the Year will be announced at the Annual Gala Dinner on the 8 October 2009.
