The Doxa Youth Foundation Cadetship Program assists talented young people from socially and financially disadvantaged backgrounds to attend university. With the support of over 40 significant companies from the law, finance, community services, science and engineering sectors the program has trained and supported over 300 talented cadets from backgrounds of extreme disadvantage into professional roles. Cadets are provided with professional work wear, textbook allowance and professional development training.
One of the highlights of the program is the relevant workplace experience with a sponsor company and an industry mentor that guides them through their education and into a career. Gewurzhaus (German for ‘spice house’) is a retailer of premium herbs, spices and spice blends offering customers a high quality product in an interactive retail environment.
Our unique selling proposition, offers a sensory stimulating retail experience where customers can smell, see and then even self-scoop their selection of spices into specially crafted, air-sealed spice bags that are one of a kind in Australia.
Customers choose from over 300 products including: 60 unique house blended and freshly milled spice blends such as Ras el Hanout and Apple Cake Spice; 30 housemade sugar, salt and pepper blends such as French Lavender Salt and Viennese
Christmas Sugar; and 160 premium, single origin herbs and spices such as Chipotle chilli, Tahitian vanilla and organic dill leaf.
With only one other store in Australia dedicated to selling spices in a retail environment, Gewurzhaus is well placed to continue its growth into other markets, including a store in Melbourne’s CBD.
MBD Energy
MBDenergy is an Australian leader in large scale algae based oil and food production through biosequestration. The company has developed a compelling sustainable solution to 3 significant world issues; food, water and energy ( value adding to CO2).
The process feeds waste flue gas emissions to algae which are harvested and processed to extract food products and oil. MBDenergy are currently building its first industry based project at Tarong Energy. Further agreements are in place for projects at Loy Yang and Eraring power stations.

Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance
The Victorian Youth Mentoring Alliance (VYMA) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation providing leadership and expertise to ensure the growth of quality youth mentoring across the State.
Youth mentoring provides structured and trusting relationships that bring young people together with volunteer mentors who offer guidance, support and encouragement.
Since its establishment in 2005 the Alliance has become accepted as the voice of more than 200 youth mentoring programs in Victoria. Today, the VYMA provides an effective mix of consultation, professional development, resource development and advocacy.
The VYMA delivers unique resources, tools, training and consultation and is responsive to the needs of youth mentoring programs and supporters.

Sally has a distinguished business and performing arts career. Commencing as a flautist in the original Jesus Christ Superstar show and performing with orchestras globally before returning to Australia. Where she leveraged another passion for fine food, as a home-wares buyer for a major Melbourne department store. After several years in retailing she returned to the performing arts, heading up The Australian Ballet Corporate Development Department. Securing high - level business funding nationally and globally and working with the world’s elite performing artists and business organizations.
