2009 Business3000 Nominees

Nominee: Rentoid.com

Steve Sammartino

General Manager

Rentoid is a website where people can rent things to and from each other using the internet.

A website
- where people can make money out of their idle assets without selling them - and renting instead.
- where communities connect to satisfy their temporary needs and share assets in a clever way
- where people either make or save money

More importantly Rentoid gives us a way to reduce our impact on the environment, using technology to maintain our lifestyles while reducing needless consumption.

The company vision is to become the largest on line renting portal, certainly in Australia and possibly the world. In fact our goals are rather large. We want to be a vanguard organisation that proves there can be a business which provides a virtuous circle for all stakeholders involved. A business which can provide profit without pillage.
